One for the books today! Had Darion and their crew out on the water this summer for an early morning trip around Crystal River. Clear conditions throughout the day made for perfect fishing weather, and y'all know how good it gets when the sun's shining bright down by the glades! The water was calling our names as we headed out to work some of our favorite inshore spots around Crystal River.

With our gear rigged and ready, we focused on drift fishing, bottom bouncing, and jigging to target the speckled trout that Crystal River is known for. The crew stayed busy working their lines, and we managed to put some nice speckled trout in the boat using these proven techniques. Crystal River's grass flats and deeper channels are perfect for this style of fishing - the structure holds bait and the trout follow right behind. We wrapped up the trip with great catches and smiles all around, cruisin' the flats like pros!
